Guus studied Economics and Business Economics at Maastricht University, where he built a strong foundation in quantitative analysis and financial reasoning. During his bachelor’s degree, he completed a minor at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, where he specialised in risk analysis and variance calculations. He is currently completing his master’s degree in Financial Economics at the Erasmus School of Economics.

Alongside his studies, Guus gained work experience as an audit intern at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he assisted with audit work for multinational clients. He gained an in-depth understanding of internal control measures, risk assessments and financial reporting. He now brings this analytical mindset to his internship at NexyZ.

Outside of his studies and work, Guus is an avid runner and loves to travel, preferably to destinations he hasn’t visited before.
